our local garden centre invented the leekodil and sold seeds and soup to people to raise money for charity - a statement was released to the press and everything. had quite a few of us going for a while apparently. best of it was that it actually looked authentic! lol lianne in dumfries

My local radio station was saying that Coventry was going to become South Birmingham because 90 odd % of tourists didn't know where Coventry was but knew where Birmingham was. The listeners who phoned in were in uproar about it. I have Rugby fm on in my car and they were telling people that they were getting rid of the Rugby phone code and taking on the Coventry one. I wasn't fooled by either of them. Saw the ad yesterday for the water thing but didn't see the programme. Must be an April Fool surely! Mel

my 9 year old son got me this morning too. " Mum, look ive got this hole in the knee of my school trousers" APRIL FOOL !!! Fooled 3 mums at school this morning. " You do know we have to pick our kids up at 2;30pm ( usually 3pm) ??? ".... Looks of horror.....jaws dropped....APRIL FOOL !! In the sun today is an article about speed cameras being put onto birds of prey, so they film you as they fly.....APRIL FOOL !!! LOL ! :o)) Elaine x

Hi Natalie Got my daughter this morning. Told her that we'd heard on the local radio that the buses were running 10-15 minutes early. How to make a grumpy teenager grumpier in one easy lesson! Jeanette
