You couldn't give us a bit more choice could you please? :-)) I only know the last few and they were no good as far as I remember. Though Wilson wasn't too bad was he? I was only a babe at the time).

I wonder who our ancestors would have voted for if they had the vote?

Im probably gonna get hounded for saying this but I would go for Maggie Thatcher. Great lady - you may not like her politics but you cant argue with what she achieved. Great role model for women and a great politician/tactician. I

Lindsey

Lindsey Report 6 Apr 2004 12:16

I totally agree with you Max. Tony Blair clearly thinks he is president of this country rather than Prime Minister. Maggie might have been a battleaxe but at least you knew what she stood for. Blair makes promises one minute (eg no student tuition fees) and changes his mind the next. Cant you tell Ive recently graduated! Lindsey

Louise Report 6 Apr 2004 13:17

I'm with Lindsey on this one. Margaret Thatcher... didn't agree with all of her policies (POLL TAX!!! Can u tell I'm a Scot lol? ) but she was one heck of a role model and you knew where you stood with her. Tony Blair is just not my cup of tea at all. Lou
