Hi Richard Your parents birth certificates will show the name of your grandparents including the grandmother's maiden name. Then look for the grandparent's marriages which should give their father's names. You will probably need to search the 1837 site for these. Heather

Hi, Can anybody help me as i am trying to do a family tree (Kane) and i have no idea how apart from me,the missus,the kids and the parents which i have done and that they originally came from Ireland (O'Kane). I can't get any info off close family as i don't get on with them and any other family i do not know, So as you see i am kind of stuck! Any sort of help would be GREAT. Thanks Richard
