I love GenesConnected! Through this I've made contact with my nana's nephew's granddaughter...! LOL. Our family were from Germany, and my nana never knew where they were from. But my new cousin went rumaging and found her great grandfather's birth certificate (my nana's older brother). I now know where in Germany my ancestors were from... Sobernheim, Rheinland-Pflaz. It's quite surreal. But where do I go next? They came here around 1898. Help please! I have seriously got the bug now! Chloe |

Thanks Valley and Jan. I have tried the IGI before but not with any luck. Maybe this is all I find, but it's far better than just know they 'came from Germany'. Soooo happy! Chloe |
