Ronnie the Rocket is really at his best at the moment. Good luck to him

Poolmaster Report 29 Apr 2004 08:56

there can be no denying that on his day the rocket is the best player the world has ever seen. sort his temprement out and he's unbeatable. my girlfriend just complains because there's no good looking players!

syljo

syljo Report 29 Apr 2004 13:44

Paul, But your girlfriend has yourself - aren't you goodlooking?? Yes, I like Ronnie, but they're all a nice bunch really, Steve Davies, John Parrot, no violence, no ill-feeling, just fun. Maybe that's why I like the sport so much.

So Ronnie is swamping Stephen Hendry. The score at the moment is 2-10. No more pc tonight as I'll be watching snooker. After all it's not every week that we have snooker. Not enough of it I'd say, but who am I. Don't tell me!!!

would that be as a person or a player !!!!!! does speed count does tidyness count do manners count do they have to have a sense of humour what about their coach/ manager

I guess he's not called "Ronnie the Rocket" for nothing. I don't know when this name was first given to him though. I believe Ronnie has had to overcome a lot of obstacles in his life, and hope things get better for him. He is as natural!

Tykerose

Tykerose Report 1 May 2004 16:19

have you ever met any of the players

Patricia

Patricia Report 1 May 2004 17:28

At this moment in time, the best is, Ronnie OSullivan because he's a got flare and he's fast and sometimes unpredictable, like when he wind the other players up when he plays left handed!

I do hope that you are aware of the fact that to view Sky satellite television channels overseas is illegal and to quote SKY TELEVISION 'Due to strict broadcast licening laws, Sky Television can only broadcast to households in Great Britain and Ireland. Therefore even within countries of the European Economic Community you will not be able to subscribe to Sky Television' I know this for a fact as I worked there for several years and we had to prosecute people - successfully I may add - who thought they were above the law by paying for their subscriptions via a UK Bank or Building Society

We cannot get SKY, but do get BBC1 and BBC2, as well as 3 German stations and 2 Belgian stations. I watch snooker on BBC2 mostly. We get a lot of commercial stations but don't watch these too much. Sylvia
