I am unsure really but would love to believe it. A couple of months ago I had to have a tooth pulled. Now this was a new dentist and the owner worked upstairs didnt know her name at the time. Well my dentist spent 45 minutes trying to get this tooth out by this time I was thinking in my mind if there is such things as guardian angels why arnt you here and please come now and help. The Dentist asked his assistant wether he could go and get Susan the owner, another half an hour and it was out. and 3 stitches. Anyway it wasnt till a week later that I noticed on the card the owners name was Yvonne. And I am still thinking perhaps this was my guardian Angel Susan who is my Great Great Granmother. It would be great if it was. I have never felt anything present I often talk to my Grandparents Photos but no nothing. So I am still not convinced Debbie

I don't know about the wings and harps, but I did have a very spiritual experience in 1976. We had a daughter born with a hole in the heart and other problems. We had faith and she was blessed by the power of the Priesthood, and we both prayed continuously as she went in for Surgery at 3 months old. There was a Chapel at the Birmingham Children's Hospital and my wife and I were in there praying as hard as we could while she was under the knife. And then I said something which I had never said before during her little life. I said "Nevertheless, Lord, Thy will be done. 5 minutes later the nurse came to give us the bad news. God has given Power to the Faithful. It was that power which had been keeping her alive. Angels must fit in there somewhere but I don't know where. Perhaps it is they who direct how the power should be used.

When I see a picture of an angel, I find myself bothered by their skeletal structure. Where do the wing bones join up ? Is there a second set of collar bones and shoulder blades? On the other hand, I do believe there are entities with intelligences that are not physical as we understand it . Read the other threads on this theme. Len

I don't believe in angels in the sense of long white gowns, wings and pretty faces, but I certainly believe that we have guardians taking care of us. I also believe in 'something' after death, so tend to connect the two. When my beloved nan died, I knew that it wasn't the end, and often I still feel her presence.

Anyone had an angelic experience. I am not talking about when the earth moved for you, but when help came from God only knows where.
