Am I the only one, who has found a family connection on the site and never received a reply to my e-mails. Why put your tree on the web and then not want to get in touch when a connection is found? I don't understand!! Deb

No it's not JUST you!!!! it's happened to me numerous times, but i once got a reply back from a guy who said " yes we are related & i have history going back to 1640, but i'm not prepared to share it" !!!!!!! charming i'm sure! john

I suppose Genealogists are a mixed bunch, the same as any other group of people. Some are only here to build their own trees and have no time for anyone else. While others of us enjoy the camaraderie and are trying more to connect with the lines of living people, than pushing the research back another hundred years. I have found cousins on here, and we have corresponded. I hope none of them feel that I have dropped them because we havent been in touch recently. It is just that time seems to fly these days.
