My Gran came to this country as a little girl, from Nova Scotia. I have her marriage cert; I have her death cert; But her birth cert seems very elusive. I contacted the Nova Scotia Genealogical Society and they were as helpful as a lead weight in a feather floating contest. Just the usual things already tried; Cyndi's list and LDS etc it looks like a visit to Kew as her dad was down as a captain merchant marine, Deseased on her marriage cert.
