Terri, I don't know about a tapestry, it seems more like we are sewing a big Quilt. Each of us doing our bit, and then fitting them together to make a big warm cover for the grandchildren. :-))) |

GC- well its this wonderful site which creates friendships and strong bonds. We may not be family - but we are closer than that - we share each others joys and heartaches, encourage and support - if it wasnt for GC I wouldnt have met people who now mean a great deal to me. |

A genealogy site? yes it is. It's message boards contain several threads. Threads that can be used to create a tapestry of friendship, healing and knowledge. Sometimes the threads become tangled, and the weave becomes warped, then a wise soul will gently untangle the mess, harmony is restored and off we go again weaving and creating a fabric of ideas. Making our lives a little more colourful, kinder, and hopefully more tolerant. The thread becomes stronger til a cable of friendship spans many countries, cultures, and beliefs. Nice to be a part of it isn't it? |
