A friend of mine had her first when she was 43! It wasn't planned but everyone delighted with the outcome!

Just wondering if there is anybody else out there who has had or considered a child after the age of 40? It seems so many woman in the 1800s had children late, I know some started and didnt stop lol but for some the first came along at 40 plus.I thought this was a modern thing or have I got it all wrong lol.
