Hi Becky I'm new as well, and couldn't believe what a brilliant site this is, both for messages and chats - have you tried the chatroom yet? It's great! Like I keep telling everyone, I got diverted from my family tree with all these messages etc, so that I've only got 4 entries on it LOL!

You'll recieve & can give support and comfort, have a jolly good laugh (so very important) and oh yes! even do genealogy (plenty of help and tips on here) if genealogy web sites could get an Oscar GC would win hands down. I so much enjoy loging onto the site and reading some of the threads as you call them. I only joined the site last week and i find it amaising how friendly and close you all seem. I have used chat rooms before and i have never seen anything like this...... you all seem like one big family!!! It is truely endeering!!! The ignore this thread is fantastic!!
