I got a pair of male tabbies last year and called them George and Harry. My daughter got a pair of black and white kittens a few months later and named tham Bert and Ernie. Whatever you call them, you will love them to bits. Julie

I have ancestors in my tree called Firstbrook and Grosvenor which I really like, only my partner hates them. I can see his point, would be a bit difficult shouting those names to get your cats in.

My wife "obtained" a spaniel called FAVERSHAM and wondered why I refused to call him in at night. Try a way out name - I always liked the tale of the Irishman who had a Zebra called SPOT.

Got into this one a little late. We currently have Lexus (male) Lotus (female) and Lexus' sister, who came as a package deal, and Lincoln, another male, whom we added later. In process of adopting another female, who was given the temporary name "Precious" while in foster-care, but after Lord of the Rings, we couldn't keep it. She's a grey, and gentle-natured, so she's probably going to be "Misty". Time to get away from those "car-names" anyway. ( Our first was a Mercedes). Good to know other people think seriously about names for pets.
