Jo, hope you get your knee sorted soon. Terri, I had to have MRI scan a few years ago and I was petrified and was advised by the medical staff to get some tablets off my GP to calm me. My scan was six in the evening, so I took one tablet in the afternoon and another before I went to the hospital, when I got there they gave me earplugs and an eye mask and instead of it taking about 45 minutes, they cut the scan by half for me. Talk to the staff and tell them how afraid you are, they will take great care of you. M.
