My Mum has just moved into a nursing hame and left the house she moved into in 1935 as a newlywed. House now on market - I and three others brought up there. Sad. K

Mum still lives in the bungalow she moved to as a young bride in spring of 1936. In Herefordshire, her distant relative lives in the family home where people of the same family name have lived since at least 1861.

You had to have a look to see what i was going to put How long has your house been in the same family name,
