Hi Kylie Love it here, would never go back to live thats for sure, I have kids but they are big kids, 17 and 24, feel as though we have never lived anywhere else. |

hi sylivia dont know what the ship was called but i shall find out for you they came in oct 74 took them 6 weeks to get here , my son is playing soccor at noranda on sunday. Hi sheila Balga is so not nice to live at but it is getting better they are really cleaning it up not like it used to be . |

I went to Balga Primary school for 3 years when we lived out there in the late 60's. On our way back to England we sailed through Sydney and took photographs of the Opera House being built....lol many many years ago! |

Hello Kylie, I live in Noranda,not very far from you and I have a niece who lives in Woodvale, also a sister in Edgewater. We came to Australia in 1974 by air. What was the name of the ship your mother came on as my sister came by ship about the same time. Sylvia |

Kylie, My Mum and Dad lived in Medina in the 1950's before I was born and my Dad helped to build the docks for Kwinana Oil Refinary. They lived there for about 18 months and then came home to England. My older sister went to school there. Viv. |
