Margaret I have the same problem but different! My other half is quite capable of doing all sorts of diy jobs but can't be bothered at home as he has to do it all week for a living. You can't win! Jeanette

Just had to let of steam sorry .I have just spent this week laying wood flooring in the hall no help from hubby he hates DIY . not even a "that looks nice " I ask him to do a simple job yesterday while i was finishing of the floor to put up on the wall my thimble holder it took him half an hour to do it also grumbling under his breath then he said to me can you come and hold the bottom of it while i make the holes for it i just didnt know how to keep my mouth shut I know i could have done it myself but i thought a simple job like that he could manage, some hope.
