Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 1 398 Send Message	Sharron, Have you managed to find Walter and his wife on the 1901 census? That should provide you with his place of birth. If there are still several possibilities you can try to cross reference them with the 1891 or 1881 census to find one with a Father William. Well that's what I'd do anyway ;-) Emma.

Member Since: March 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	I have managed to get a copy of my great grandfather Walter Cousins marriage certificate from 1895 detailing his father as William. The marriage certificate states Walter as being 22 and I know he wasnt local to the place where he got married, but I dont know where he came from. There are various walters born around the right time and a couple with fathers named William - how do I know which ones are my Williams and walters when I don't know where they are from or when William was born or died?
