Hi Samantha Sorry to hear of your disappointment. If you would like tips and advice on adoption searching, please feel free to email me direct. I have experience of being 'rejected' by members of birth family. Happy to give you any info and details you think might help, would just rather not put it all on this thread. Best wishes, Mandy x

hi, i am sooo disapointed, i cannot say. i am trying to look for my MIL adoptive parents family, for her & also for my tree. it is a very unpopular name on this site - in fact there are only 11 people - 7 of which are in my tree. there were 3 names that matched my MIL (real) parents & sibling - GREAT! i thought - i sent an e mail to the person , only to find today that they have removed the names from the site - obviously doesnt want to help me! - we do not want to contact relatives & meet up - just to try & find out what their names were. my MIL did not find out she was adopted until her"mum" died not too long ago, but remembers the family. i am soo sad sam -x-
