Hi Daph, don`t let it worry you, it`s just jargon, and i`m not familiar with it all yet,I can assure you. Barry x

Thanks for that Bob,appreciate it. I t`s looking like I might decide not to. My computer is running a 2400 Athlon, and has quite a bit of space left, but I think I`ll use it all if I carry on. You`re the second person to tell me that, so I`ll have to rethink. Many thanks, Barry

I havn't done it myself yet Baz and there are loads of progs available as you have found. You will need *gigs* of available disk space and a fast computer or it will take forever. You should consided getting a dvd burner as the results (using divx) are much better. I want to do the same thing so let us know how you get on Bob

I would like to transfer all my old video tapes ( analogue ) to cd. I have `movie maker 2` on the computer, but will need,so Im told, a card with the correct fitting for my vc. Also, I can use a ` Dazzle dvc 80` which is an add on with usb port, great, but have now been told, it takes up huge amounts of disc space. Has anybody done this, and what were your expeariences. Any help will be greatfully received. Barry
