Barr's Irn Bru...they've just banned the importing of it. Even if you don't like it yourselves you could take it and sell it to all the ex-pat Scots over there. lol.

We had problems trying to find malt vinegar. [get a load of little sachets, easy to pack]. When doing theme parks, you can buy a large container with drinking straw cheap, with free refills. Badger Bill

you've bought back memories of my holiday in 1993 can't believe its that long ago. i agree with teabags, abd if they are still going the ponderosa restaurant were cheap and its buffet style eat as much as you like. the epcot centre was very enjoyable as well as all the other attractions, sandra

Sue, Take tea bags. You can find marmite and weetabix. Bovril is a bit harder to find. Baked beans too. This isn't food related, but my parents always moan about the toilet paper here. They've been known to bring Andrex with them on a few occasions! Crista

Sue, They have EVERYTHING in Orlando. McDees, KFC, Burger King, Wendys etc. I will say that the americans definitely cater to children. Most resturaunts have a childrens menu and also high-chairs and "booster" seats. What I miss is the lack of good fish and chips, meat pies, cheshire cheese, McVities chocolate biscuits...the list is endless! lol.

If they are going to Orlando, there,s a shop in Old Town ( I think it,s simply called The British shop) that stocks all things British. However, most supermarkets have an international section where you can buy most of the above mentioned items. Anyway, what,s wrong with a good old peanut butter and jelly sandwich and don,t forget McDonalds!

The shops in America seem to stock everything you mention. If they don't then the children will have to choose an alternative. Can't be fussy on holiday!

My son & his family are going on their first ever holiday to USA (Florida). What British foods should they take that can't be got out there? The kids are quite fussy eaters ...........Marmite? Daddies sauce? Heinz salad cream & ketchup? Marmalade? Any other suggestions please? Sue
