I have 2 border collies at the moment only got Misty last week she is 5 yrs old and the other one is called Tyke then there are so many names to choose from belle Deefer Gem Badger lassie gyp nell meg jess bet kit fly shep sally There are a few to ponder Did you know a border collies can run/walk approx 60 miles a day.....No we have never done it but it is the thing a lot of people keep telling us.. The thing we have found with ours ( i have had a shep and a sally before these ) is the further you walk one day the further they want to go the next.Sally did part of the lyke wake walk with me i got bad blisters she wanted to keep going we managed well over half of it next day she thought she could walk for ever Have fun with your BC Jan |

I could suggest what NOT to call him - my brother's cat had kittens yesterday and because he's a QPR fan and they scored on Saturday, he called one of the kittens after the guy who scored the goal - Furlong! Poor little kitty :) |

I wanted a Chow Chow but couldn't afford one so hubby bought me a Border Collie, called him Chow! Sadly not with us now. Why dont you look at your tree and see if a name jumps out from there? Names weve had for dogs Jip Jed Ruff |

I bought a border collie puppy last noght but i can't decide on the name - The puppy is black with a white tip on his nose + tail - 3 white socks a white blaze and a flash of white down the middle of his eyes - Names submitted so far are: Flash Blaze Skip (not that he eats like one he doesn't) Spike Scamp he is ten weeks old Can you help? Don't fancy anything normal! Love Tracy xx |
