Hi Tracey, as he's black and white why not call him Liquorice (spelling??) Just finished a packet of Bertie Bassett's All Sorts and the black and white ones just reminded me of your description of your new puppy!! Also, Darling would be a nice name, as of course we all call our dogs Darling - mind you, you could get a variety of dogs returning to you if you shouted "Darling come here" in the park!!! Perhaps not all the four-legged variety! Have fun with Puppykins, sounds like a nice dog. Jacqui

We have a black collie cross called Raucous, the kids named him. Most people think it's a great name, haven't met any other dogs called Raucous. He isn't noisy at all,has a brilliant nature. It's really hard naming animals isn't it?

Thankyou all for your suggestions but I'm afraid my daughter won and we named him SKIP The history on the dog is that we bought him Sunday evening and when I went to get him from the bloke who was selling him he had him locked in a dark dingy barn that was wet and musty - when I went to pick up the dog (Skip) he started to cower in the corner of a hay bale and he is only just starting to play - he didn't know how - The vet said to socialise him so he goes to my best friends and plays with her doggies whilst I'm at work - so that the only time he is on his own is at bedtime - even then I have to put the radio on to keep him company as on Tuesday & Wednesday night he just barked and barked - I ended up getting up with him at 5.30am and i was totally shattered - so last night (Thursday) i left the radio on and got up to the least mess a puppy could make ( 2 puddles - on paper of course) and a very contented tired puppy and that was at 7.30am this morning. What beats me is how people can be so cruel to defenceless animals!!! or humans if it comes to that!! Love to all Tracy xx
