Iv'e just looked on sky news & there has been a plastics factory in Glasgow, which has had an explosion (believed to be gas )..........Thre building has collapsed, and so far I believe some are missing..........My thoughts go out for those who are trapped & for their families, also for the rescuers.-------------Elaine x :o((

Elaine, This is very tragic. I have just picked up on the local news that there are no confirmed dead. Eleven casualties taken to hospital and sixteen trapped in the collapsed building. We can only hope and pray for their survival. My heart and prayers go out to their families. Lindy

Lindy, Iv'e amended my origional posting. When I first saw the news there were a few presumed dead. The story was changing fast as events went on. Lets hope everyone can get out alive... Sylvia: If you are online, the internet, most servers have a homepage which has news headlines on. Try typing in sky news in google, I think they have a website, I'm sure the BBC has too. Elaine x

I went cold when the news broke - I can remember the Clarkston Blast many years ago as well Lets hope they rescue the people still trapped soon - and safely

This is awful. I've been out all day and hadn't heard anything. This building is only a street away from where I was born. Hoping and praying for everyone involved.

Hi all I live in Glasgow and its horrible knowing its so close to home, there are unfortunately at least three fatalities and my thoughts are with their families, and anyone waiting for loved ones to be pulled out alive. A Prayer for them all. June

Sadly there so far have been seven confirmed dead. There is still some hope that more people will be rescued alive. My thoughts go out to them all.. Elaine x
