Hi Chloe, Wow, what a great result! I am really pleased for you. It just goes to show what lovely people there are out there. There must be lots of "happy dancing" going on in your house at the moment! Rebecca :-)

There are lots of people on the internet that offer free look ups out of the kindness of their own heart, and it is all most greatly appreciated by the recipients. I try to help out, although I'm not very quick. I emailed a Wine company in Meddersheim, RP, Germany, just because they had the same surname (Hexamer) that I am trying to research (my great grandmother) from the same area. I did not expect to receive a reply, but I did. They were not able to find anything that connected with their family tree, but will look into the Sobernheim records for me, and mentioned a bloke who I've not hear of who is also researching the same person.... As I only emailed this person out of hope, I didn't expect anything, and am so bowled over by the kindness of a stranger who isn't even on any genealogy webistes. Forgive the blabber.... Chloe
