Hi Kylie, just wanted to add my message of support too! I always read your threads and quite often post replies. I don't find anything you've said offensive in the least. There have been far more offensive things on this board than the odd mild swear word, or topic about how we see out this life. I've personally been very offended by a certain person's threads and comments, yet they are still on this board for all to see. I hope you will see from all the replies here that the ones who have complained are definitely in the minority. Keep your chin up, and keep posting those threads! Love and hugs, Mandy x

Quite frankly Kylie I can't see what all the fuss is about. There is nothing wrong with 'send off' (I don't care how I'm sent off when I'm 'brown bread!')...how ridiculous that it was offensive to someone. 'Bloody' may not be everyone's choice of vocabulary but it's often the complainers who would see nothing wrong with asterisking their expletives..in my book they're still saying the words but are just not bold enough to write them!!.......Don't lose any sleep, me dear!

Hi Kylie Dont worry about it,I have never been offended by anything you have said.I have had more hassle from a certain person complaining about what I have put in my tree and I let it run over my head now so chin up and keep adding your threads but be like me,take a little care over what you put and you will be fine!

and there,s me thinking that it,s our colonial brothers and sisters that,s behind the times.I thought your thread,s were amusing Kylie and in no way offensive .A short while ago my grand daughter was given a blood orange when she asked for fruit and was given a crack round the ear by mum when she said, look mum ,iv,e got a bloody orange ,out of the mouths of babes.

hi Kylie I've never been offended by any of your threads, and the b word is very minor compared to other letters in the alphabet, if people don't like a thread, it says in the title what its about 99% of the time, they don't have to read them!!!!!!! so un offended person sends best wishes sandra

I enjoyed your threads too and I'm sorry GC saw fit to censure your comments. I complained about SVO the other day like a few others and wonder if GC went through the boards looking for anything! Sorry if I contributed to this but really didnt intend too. Penny

Kylie.. I enjoyed reading your threads,,,and wasnt offended by either, Some people can be so petty, and there are contributions to some threads on here where the author should be drummed out of the brownies for writing rascist and bigoted views, At least you apologised but there was no need,,,you didnt offend me!!

Ann Report 18 May 2004 00:44

Kylie, I did read the threads and I agree with you, and I can honestly say that I don't know how anyone could be offended by the word bloody. It's all a bit petty if you ask me!! Ann

Hi Kylie, I believe you are sorry. Don't let it upset you. I know you wouldn't purposely offend anyone. It does seem quite trivial to complain about the two threads you mentioned(which I think have now been removed).Take care Ann x x
