not looking to offend or defend anybody....!just want to make sure that this site is a good place to come too.. for everyone.. what ever they are looking for !!, new visitors to this site should not have to read the recent comments aired publicely, I suggest that in future, such things are kept private

Thankyou for your positive feed back!!, This site means alot to me cos it changed my life. I know that everyone has their own reasons for visiting this site, be it geneology, or trying to find...!. I hope all of you are sucessfull, but I promise you, you willl never get positive feed back with the messages you are sending out, not to each other, but to new members who may look on the board and be frightened off by negative comments, as suggested before, do what you all do best... encouragment, advice, general chitchat etc..

Seems to me rather too much time is being spent on finger pointing, witch hunting, member bashing, stirring, indignantion, conspiracy theories and the like. Please give it a rest and rise above it all. Crista

exactly Linda!, that is what i,m saying... keep the chat board and the discussion board 99% free from negative comments!, and if someone starts a thread that individuals disagree with.. then ignore them completely, it has got to be the best way!

Have been a member of gc for about 18 months now, and although not active on the chat or discussion board I pop in every day to see what is going on, check to see if there is any new information for me, and have a look at the threads and chat board which I usually find amusing (would probably join in only I cant keep up) and I have to say, I,m gutted!! Please, Please, Please, do what you all do best....and that is.. humour, compassion, advice, chitchat.., please dont turn the site into a war zone!!.
