I decided something similar recently, which coincided with getting a dog... The dog gets about 5 walks a day, I do three of them generally... at least one of those is a couple of miles or more - one walk yesterday took us over 90 minutes. Walk will soon start turning into a jog I think. It's doing me (and the dog ?) the world of good.

Yesterday I decided that enough was enough and exercise wouldn't happen if I didn't put myself out a bit! So I left the house at 6.15 am and ambled off to my local park for a jolly good walk. I actually managed 5 circuits of relatively brisk power walking and occasional jogs and it took me 90 minutes in all (pretty big park!) There were many other ppl of all ages doing the same thing and it was fantastic!!...I felt wonderful and actually looked forward to doing it again today. I plan to be really sensible and 'listen' to my body if it aches but I'm not going to give up- I mean it! I did 5 and a half laps today so who wants to join me tomorrow.......Sign your names on the dotted line!!!! Love Aileenx
