What is the plural of Census?

Is it Census', censuses, censi or something else like entirely? Obviously my research isn't going too well otherwise I wouldn't be pondering such useless topics ...

Barry - On a similar topic -What is the plural of Syllabus?? As a teacher, I am ashamed I still do not know!!

Russell Oxford Concise Dictionary says that it can be either syllabuses or syllabi. See - proves I can be sensible when I want to be (plus I couldn't think of any relevant stupid words except syllabub or maybe syphilis) I won't tell if you won't (about you being an embarassed teacher!).

Hi Barry It's a brill site - as you say with a lovely bunch of people. And as for working nights - as long as job gets done - I can access computer - which is not too bad As for grey cells I left mine in bed - it's been too hot to sleep Liz
