You need to do what your heart tells you. But if you do take him back, you have to establish some clear ground rules and be prepared to get rid of him if he breaks them. I was in a similar situation once, and did exactly that. He broke the rules and though it was heartbreaking I let him go. Fifteen years on, married with two beautiful kids, I know I made the right decision. People do make mistakes and can move on, so one mistake is understandable, but if they keep making the same mistake then you need to accept that you must move on. Angela

Rachel, I think if you really were happy about taking him back you wouldn't have to ask. If you have started to build your life without him I would refer you back to Barry. don't take him back for want of a better offer. Think hard and you will KNOW what you want to do. Well after being finished by my fella with no reason as to why he has now decided that he has made a mistake and wants to get back together.... Im not sure. Id love to but I scared of getting hurt again. What would you do in this situation?
