Oh the shame, this happened today whilst out shopping..... I had been looking for a toilet for what seemed ages when I suddenly spotted the "toilet this way" sign and went in to the first door I came to, as there were no sign on the door, there was a 50/50 chance of being the right one I thought to myself (as I was pretty desperate by now) so I made my way in. As I went through the first door the door opened and a bloke was just comming out " oh sorry I said is this the gents" and was just about to turn and leave when the "bloke" said no love this is the ladys, I have just had my hair cut short and I didnt think it looked that bad!!!!! I made an excuse about not having my glasses on and escaped without a punch on the nose!!!!!

I'm almost wetting myself laughing here! I put mine on another thread a few weeks ago but just remembered one concerning my daughter. We arrived at our campsite for our holiday last year and being the typical 16yr old, she didn't want to help put up the tent as a buch of lads were sitting nearby. She sat in the car playing with the window blind. She eventually came out when the tent was built and all the lads were smiling and pointing at her and she was doing her best to look 'cool'. "I think you've got some admirer's" I said. "I know" she said cockily She turned round and I took one look at her and collapsed laughing. Her face was covered with great big black spots, where she'd been pressing the edge of the window blind against it. She dived into the tent and didn't come out all that night. No wonder the lads were smiling!

I put on a new top - and borrowed my sisters leather jacket - for a trip to the sales. All the way on the walk to the bus stop people were staring at me. I thought that I didn't look so great that men where thinking 'oh, look at her' or so hideous that they were thinking 'eurgh, look at her'. It was only when I got to the bus stop that I looked down and saw that the friction of the two fabrics had caused my top to ride up so high that I was practically walking round in a bra with sleeves. The worse thing was I didn't even feel a chill !!!

This happened years ago when I was about 15........

I was babysitting for a neighbour who was attending a wedding, the toddler became grumpy for no apparent reason so i tryed my best to amuse her, with all the things you usualy try but she was still upset, dont know why i did this but the baby had one of those large rattles which had a suction pad at the bottom, I stuck it over my eye (as you do) and couldnt get it off, as I pulled it felt like my eye was coming out, so I had to put baby in pushchair and run down to the end of the road to my house and ask my dad to get it off

I looked like an alien with this thing bobbing up and down as I ran down the road (by this time baby had stopped crying) and I was crying instead, Especially when my dad went and got a butter knife!!

My dad finally freed me after he slid the knife under the rubber and released the suction and i was left with a huge ring around my eye for the rest of the day!!

These are great! I too have had the knickers out the bottom of the trousers. What a dirty bunch we are! hehe. One of my most embarrasing moments is something that has come back to haunt me. Not long after I met my husband he, his Dad, sisters b/f and I went off for a kick-about to the local park. The two lads ran on and his Dad and I had what was to be our first conversation alone. To start it off gently and as we were off to play footie, he asked what my best position was. When I answered "Flat on my back like most girls" I completely rendered him speechless. (This has been the only time it's been known) Anyway on my wedding day, Father in Law decided to make a speech. Out came this story. I was completly mortified to say the least! Naomi

like to thank everyone who put their most embarassing moments on this thread.haven't laughed so much in all my life.just before i go have another embarrassing moment not for me but a friend of mine (she'll kill me)lorna sutton who is a dear friend and past collegue.i wasn't there at the time but many people told me what happened.lorna and some more collegues went to a collegues wedding reception.the lady whose reception it was happened to be from ghana and the local dish was fish heads.at the time the reception was being held in a dimly lit room.they served the buffet up and lorna and co. proceeded up to the table to have some food.lorna unfortunatly mistook the fish heads for samosa and proceeded to eat it.she said to a friend that the somosa tasted fishy only for the friend to turn round and break the bad news to her that she was eating a fish head.she was a little bit green after that!

Reading about the pants left in the jeans ,reminded me of a work mate who took some jeans home from the local market to try on,she was a regular customer ,so was well in with the owner. She had to take them back for some reason and got an exchange,She continued walking round the market then heard the stall owner calling her name,He shouted Hey *****I don't sell knickers, and waved her pants in the air!!!!we all blushed for her,and still do!!!.

Do you know I have laughed so much at all the threads like this. More funny when you are sat alone. I normally only say my things when I've had too much to drink but for some strange reason I've been putting them on GC. There are some though that I really couldn't put on!

Jo, I recall something similar... When I was about 16 I was in the local shopping centre with 2 girls and they decided to try (and succeeeded lol) to embarrass me by dragging me round teh lingerie deprtment in John Lewis's... One of the girl got a bra hooked up on her handbag... so as revenge I neglected to point this out... she spent the next 20 minutes wandering around the shop with this bright red bra hooked on her bag.. until the security pointed this out as she tried to leave the shop... hehehehe

Walking down a busy high Street, I noticed something was sticking out of the leg of my jeans. I was trying to jiggle my leg to see what it was. To my horror it was a pair of my pants that I had had on the day before, must have been stuck in the leg of my jeans! I was too embarressed to pull them out but I must have looked more of a clip trying to shake them out and kick them discretely away!
