hi everyone i had a bright pink pair of hot pants, those were the days. i wasn't around when the mini first came out, but i have worn mini skirts up until i was 40. My legs are great if i say so myself, unfortunately the rest of me is falling apart, i look about 9 months pregnant, and trying to shift it as you all know. so the mini skirts and fishnets are no longer here for me, as i would look like a beached whale in a trawler net!!!! Te HE but to all of you that can good luck to you, oh to be slim again lol sandra

Goodness me ..do I remember hot pants etc....I used to wear both. In the early 60s when I bought my first mini dress my father almost had kittens and it was only then just above my knees. I then progressed to really short ones...dare not bend down for fear of showing me knickers..LOL. Around 70/71 I wore Hot pants and by then my Son was born so I could push his pram without fear of showning me knickers.Mind you then I had the legs to wear them and felt like the bees knees..now its long skirts or trousers but what fond memories Lynn

I never wore a mini skirt, but had a lime green pair of hot pants which I used to wear with a cream pair of pvc boots and a bright orange nylon crocheted three quarter length sleeveless jacket that mum had made, reading that back it sounds horrendous but I thought I was the bee's knees when I wore it. I remember my hot pants. My mum made them in purple satin and wore them with the same boots Lisa in Holland did. Don't think they'd look too good with my varicose veins now, though the colour would match!!LOL I also had one of those mini shiny 'snake' skin coats. Thought I looked the bees knees. Christine

Lisa When we came out of school we used to turn our skirts over at the top to make them shorter but we would wait until we got out the school gate and they would be back to the normal lengh before we got home

Me neither, Margaret. Unfortunately I've put on a bit of weight since then, but I thought I was the cat's whiskers in my suede hotpants with over the knee suede boots, and my black suede mini - not all at the same time though!! Kathy xx

Bet there is quite a few of us that used to wear hot pants and the mini skirt yes i know mini skirts are back in but i dont have the legs for them now
