Hello! Was just thinking about things in general and Ive always believed in cay sara sara- whatever will be will be. I believe we all have the ability to choose our own path and direction but do we have the power to change our destinies?...Any opinions on this topic?

hi i believe there are some things in our life where we can choose which way to go but again there are other avenues that if we had the choice we wouldn t choose them

Blimey that was a stroke of luck. You never know who youre going to meet or what you are going to do that will put you into to the next place or situation!

If our destiny is already chosen for us then what is the point of working to improve ourselves? A depressing thought. Having said that, my first attempt to write this was wiped out in front of me. Perhaps fate does not want it to be known that it is at work? Rob

Hi Rach, I agree with Di she has "hit the nail on the head" Given the same set of circumstances we would deal with what fate has dished up for us in very different ways. I just wonder if we were given the same set of circumstances a second time around, whether we would still choose the same path or opt for the unknown. I can smell wood burning! Lindy;-)

hi rach yes i believe in fate and destiny, some things happen for a reason, i think some things are sent to try us! and make us stronger as part of our circle of life, i also believe we keep returning until we get it right before going to another plain, and that our lives are enriched through learning. sandra

I believe that fate and destiny play a part in our lives. We choose a path for ourselves but ultimately we will end up where we're meant to be. I met my husband by gatecrashing his 21st birthday party. I recognised his sister as she was in my class at school. I didn't give him my phone number but his sister still had one of my friends numbers. He called her and got my number and the rest as they say is history. His Mum and Dad even got to meet mine even though mine had died 7 years before we met. As we went to the same school both our parents went to some social evening and his Mum and Dad gave mine a lift home. Simon's Dad believes Simon and I were pre-ordained to be together. Naomi
