Hello Mandy, Yes, we do seem to be rotating around each other. I lived in western Wiltshire for about 16 years, mainly near Trowbridge, then in Bradord on Avon. We moved down to North Devon in 2001, and are living between South Molton and Torrington on the high plateau (as I call it!) Great views of Dartmoor on one side and Exmoor on the other. We're getting to know Devon. The A30 seems to be the boundary between north and south. Plymouth folk are definitely southerners and the big city dwellers of the county! lol! We northern hill folk can't keep up! Good luck in Somerset, Philip

Hello Philip in Devon, wondered if we might be following each other? I'm a Plymouth girl originally, now living in a Somerset town not a million miles from Kilmersdon! Nice to meet you :) Mandy PS: Have no idea about the tuttle I'm afraid, but it was interesting to read the replies !

Very interesting, Bill! Talking of famous hills, I used to live quite near Kilmersdon Hill between Bath & Shepton Mallet, which was the original "Jack & Jill" hill. Philip
