what a brilliant programme i.t.v has put on every day.hell's kitchen with gordon ramsey and the stars.i think gordon ramsey has been seen as an arrogant chef who loses his temper which in a way he does but working in his top restaurant he wants no.1 food and no.1 service.thas just a perfectionist.shame two had to walk.who do you think will go next.buckle under the strain.

Hi lisa Yes I've been watching it, but did miss a bit of it last night. I guess I've found it slightly addictive. Yes I'm sure he is a perfectionist, but I still don't think that tirade of F's is necessary in getting the best out of your staff. Mind you he had his work cut out with Amanda (is she still there?) The way he spoke to that poor head waiter or whatever he was!! I did laugh, mainly because I couldn't believe I was hearing it. There are moments when he spoke with genuine interest and concern to the group, maybe a bit more of that would help more than constantly berating them. I am sure other top chiefs don't behave like that. I wonder what sort of a turnover of staff he has in his own resuraunts!!!! Lynda amused, facinated and horrifed at the same time!!!!!

Put me off going to a restaurant though. All that sweat and tears dripping into the food! Compulsive viewing. Naomi
