Your dog'll be fine. One of my cats keeled over and had a major fit when he was 4 years old. The vet found a major heart problem (he'd had a heart murmur since a kitten) and a half dozen other things wrong. We were told to expect the worst and were invited to take him home to die as there was no more the vet could do. He didn't die and though he's on medication he is the happiest cat in the world. He'll be 12 on 5 September this year. Angela
