I stayed at Alnwick a few years ago and visited Chillingham. It is the funniest place I have ever visited. I have never seen so much weird stuff so badly displayed anywhere ever. The garden was beautiful however and the tea very good. Just wish some of the cattle had come near the building though. Rosemary(Essex)

Hi Judith, I love watching it even though i'm not really convinced that ghosts exist. I do know that i had the strangest experience there and that i thought i was going to pass out and just needed to get out of that room. Makes you wonder doesn't it? Sheila

Hi, I'm sitting watching Most Haunted about chillingham Castle. I visited it on Easter Monday and we ended up having a cuppa in what used to be the minstrels gallery. After a few minutes I started to feel really sick and had an oppressive feeling. I had to quickly get up and go outside. I sat for a few minutes and felt fine. The thing is that exactly the same thing has just happened to a guy on the programme! How weird is that? I must add that I consider myself to be totally unsensitive to things like that and do not really believe in ghosts.
