Ann, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. My Dad died suddenly in England and I had not seen him for 10 years and it was too late when I did get there. I am so glad you got to be with your Dad before he died. Please accept my sincere condolences, Love to you and your family from Sylvia in Perth WA xx |

Many thanks to all of you for your kind words and thoughts. We are doing OK at the moment, although it is odd the things that trip you up - tidying the garden this evening, I noticed that a couple of the fuchias Dad grew for me are just coming into bloom. He was looking for a new purple flowered one for me. I'm such a self sufficient person, he really enjoyed it when he could help. I love gardening and will always think of him when I do. I always looked forward to showing him what I had achieved. I'm sure he can still see - but I'll still miss showing him. Thankfully, we have succeeded in arranging the funeral and sorting the legal formalities for that, so it feels as though we are making progress. Little steps.................. Ann |
