I really will have to do something about my blood pressure, little things are making my blood boil just lately. The other week my wife lost a stone out of an eternity ring so she took it into Leeds to get it repaired. Leeds is a train ride away from where we live so we don't get in very often and the parking is horrendous so I never use the car. Anyway we got a message to say the ring would be ready late last week and I went down on the due day. I had to be back for a meeting later so had only 3 hours to spare. It turned out that the ring had been sent away for repairs and wouldn't be back until 4 hours later - 1st gnashing of teeth. I used the wasted journey to do some research in the library so there was some mitigation. Today I went back for the ring and decided to put the day to good use in the library. Picked up the ring, splendid job, went to the library and it was closed. Wasted day 2 nd much gnashing of teeth and even the postman hasn't been.
