Paul, I do agree with you; however I think a lot of people, myself included, would be far less frustrated if the boards were up to speed. But let's give GC the opportunity to get it sorted. We were recently inundated with threads about a certain person and their comments (but quite justified!), and now we're in danger of the same thing happening with threads about the GC site. Let's get all the frustration off our chests and then get back to the happy boards that we've had this last week or so. Paul's right - let's get everything back into perspective.

The genes reunited logo (top left) looks more pleasing to the eye now rather than the old logo. Im looking forward to the changes weve been promised. Wonder if they will add a photo board???? Elaine x ( who cant post any piccys on the GC Photo site, Ggggrrr ! )

to be honest I expect they're just "branding" it, so that more people know it's connected to FriendsReunited.

Don't you think it kind of leads people astray though? If I saw a site called Genes Reunited I would be inclined to think it was a site that specialized in looking for living rellies. I know we have a few of those now which is fine, but GR are obviously trying to attract an awful lot more people. How will we all feel when 'trying to finds' become the majority and genealogy takes a back seat? I joined this site because it was all about tracing my ancestors. Jeanette
