Grrrr - had to open a new thread 'cos I keep getting 'please enter a title'!! and all I wanted to say was: "I was having the same problem this morning - took me an hour to get past the home page, and when I did eventually get into the boards I couldn't view any of the messages!! Seems to be working ok at the moment though...fingers crossed!"

Hi Sarah or anyone - I am getting the "page cannot be found" and its driving me up the wall. I cannot even get on the "Contact Us" Genes thingy to complain! Is it my computer, or some sort of virus thing? Any help would be appreciated (although goodness knows how long it will be before I can read any replies) If its not my computer then I fully intend to ask for my £7.50 back! Jacqui

No, its not your computer! I've been getting it on and off for days now...I have to click a link 2 or 3 times before it will work..but this morning it was constant! Back to normal now...just need to backpage and try each link twice before I get anywhere :o(

Thanks Sarah - I didnt think it was the computer as I can access other sites ok. I did eventually manage to get the "Contact Us" board and have sent an e-mail to G/C. Not very chuffed though, and as I have just renewed membership at £7.50 really feel like asking for refund (might still do that actually). any luck with your Tabernacle? Jacqui

Hiya Pen - it wasnt just your thread (which I found eventually) it was every blooming thread, and every blooming board!!! I did try to respond to your thread, but I just got a message "add title" and as there was no room to add a title, well that was the end of that! Finally switched off computer and then came back in (or wahtever its called) and it now seems to be ok. frustrating aint the word though! Jacqui

Though the problem being experienced by many may be the GC site, the following may help....and should be done regardless.....try this: Fixing “Website Can’t Be Found” and other Site Error Messages More than likely you have trouble with accessing quite a few sites.....particularly getting the message "website can't be found" among a few other error messages. Try the following and it should solve your problem. 1. Go to START. 2. Click on CONTROL PANEL. 3. Click on INTERNET OPTIONS. 4. Change NUMBER OF DAYS TO KEEP IN HISTORY to “0” and click APPLY 5. A box appears with tabs labeled across the top. Click on ADVANCED. 6. Scroll down to the sub-heading SECURITY. 7. Make sure the following has check marks next to it: Use USE SSL 2.0, USE SSL 3.0 and USE TLS 1.0. 8. Also make sure you check off EMPTY TEMPORARY INTERNET FILE WHEN BROWSER IS CLOSED. More than likely USE TLS 1.0 is not checked of and it should be. This will give you the error messages, as well as a few others, that will prevent you from viewing web sites and the error you are getting. Make sure you empty your cookies cache as well as temporary internet files once in a while, too, as this slows down your computer.

Thank you Judy I'll try what you have suggested, although I haven't had any problem with any other site today - only G/C Ray - you said it man! As soon as I typed "refund" the blessed thing seemed to right itself!!! lol Jacqui
