It's on the A50 about 3 miles west of Kegworth, maybe 9 miles south east of Derby. Don't know where you're travelling from, but if you look on the web, there are several map sites that will give you directions door to door. Just try a google search for 'maps uk'.

On a modern map look for Alvaston and Elvaston - Shardlow is just past them and very close to Elvaston Castle. The canal runs right through it. Were you looking for a particular place? (I'm not far from there so if I can help in any way....) Sarah

Hi Sandra We find the best place for actual directions is www(.)multimap(.)com. There is a tab at the top that says 'directions' then you type in where you're travelling to and from, and it will come up with a map and step-by-step instructions. Speak soon, Mandy :)
