	I have just seen an advert in my local paper for the NW Kent Family History Society. They meet once a month in my area. Is anyone already a member, or a member of a similar Society elsewhere? Is it worth going along? Thanks.

	Well, I live near Orpington, and the meetings are in Bromley, but I don't know if they meet anywhere else.

	Hello Val Yes, I'm going to go. I feel as if I have come to a bit of a dead-end with my research, so I am hoping that I'll get some fresh ideas. I will let you know how I get on.
