My name is Chris Highton and I live in the Rochdale area, Lancs. My wife had a sister born c.1964-66. Adopted immediately at birth possibly at Upton Court Park Hospital and possibly with red hair.

Hi Chris Up until very recently, the law didn't allow relatives of adopted people to search for them - but it has now changed so you should be able to look at records. There is a very good adoption organisation called Norcap who will be very helpful, their website is www(.)norcap(.)org - remove the brackets. Do you have any more details, ie her mother's name? Good luck in your search, Mandy :)
