Good book to read - history/genealogy

The title is LONDON (The Novel) and it is written by Edward Rutherford, published by Arrow Books in 1998. It is rather a thick book, but I think worth reading.

As I said, it concerns history/genealogy. It's how London came about, and takes one back further than I can remember.
