Hi Sue, I was so sorry to hear your sad news about Sandy. Both my sons have lost their dogs in similar ways this year, and I know how heartbroken you must be feeling. Take comfort in the fact that Sandy died in the most loving way possible, with the person he loved and who loved him - you. God bless, Kathy xx

oh Sue,i am so sorry, i know what you're going through,i lost my dog Lassie 3 yrs.ago, she died at home and i was with her,it is so heartbreaking, she had a heart attack, she had been off her food for a few days and kept hiding in corners and under the table,i was going to take her to the vet to get her checked over. It was on a Wednesday,i had been home from work about an hour when she let out a yelp, and she could'nt get up,i managed to coax her up,she staggered to the middle of the floor and collapsed,so i rang the vet,5 mins.before he got here she died, but i sat with her all the time, talking to her and stroking her,in the end i said to her-"if you want to go Lass, you go" and she died after i said that,it was as if she had waited for me to come home, it broke my heart to lose her and i still miss her,in fact i'm getting quite choucked up talking about it! she was 15,and i had her from 9wks old,but you get so attached, they are part of the family. so take care Sue,it will get better in time, but you don't forget. i'm thinking of you. chris.

Sue I am so very sorry to hear your sad news. I lost 2 of my dogs within a few weeks of each other 3 years ago. One was 15 and one 16 years old. It broke my heart and all the families hearts. Be comforted to know that he had a good life with you and if there is any justice in this world, one day we will see our dogs again. God bless. There is another little one out there waiting for a good mum.

Sue So sorry you've lost your friend. We've two black labradors (4 & 6) who are in their prime and I can't bear to think of them getting old. Just hold onto the memories of all the good times with Sandy which I'm sure you've had.
