Help in Sculcoates, Hull

Wonder if anyone can help with some research in the Hull area. Looking for the following people: Alice Sipple, born Hull approx 1870, on 1901 census Alice Sipple (married name) Born Hull 1834, in Sculcoates on 1901 census John, Lucy & Robert Sipple Moved to Sculcoates 1887ish, on 1891 & 1901 census Edith Sipple Born 1886 Hull, On 1891 census Can anyone help? jay i just double checked it and it came up ok for me in english i use it all the time, try it again and click on the british flag for the country sandra

Thanks for the fast response - the multiple site searcher is a rather useful one - now much help on the Sipple search, but really helpful for a couple of other names I'm looking for. I'm really after some birth certificates (or marriage will do). I've gone through the Sipple marriages from 1849 - 1870 in the BMD books at the FRC in Farringdon, and tried the usual online resources such as FreeBMD. Can find them on the census, but no luck with birth certicate entries. More specifics: Alice Sipple, born Hull approx 1870, on 1901 census. Trying to get birth certificate. Tried looking through the FRC books, and can't find her. Alice Sipple (married name) Born Hull 1834, in Sculcoates on 1901 census. Again after a birth certificate (or marriage), but can't find her and don't know her maiden name. John, Lucy & Robert Sipple Moved to Sculcoates 1887ish, on 1891 & 1901 census. Will have to try the Births books, unless anyone knows of another trick Edith Sipple Born 1886 Hull, On 1891 census. Again, I guess I need the Births books. Pete

peter have you tried name variations such as suppple sapple etc transcribing some of the writing is difficult and on occasions, are mis transrcribed sandra
