I have just read through all the messages that have been left for me about my dog Sandy. I can't thank you all enough. I seem to have cried non stop since early sunday morning when I lost her. We decided to have Sandy cremated so she went for a last ride with us. It was a lovely place and we said our last goodbyes and gave her a kiss. Today I have been completely lost. I keep looking for her, thinking its time to feed her, hearing her bark, the house seems so empty without her around. I have made endless cups of tea (even put two tea bags in the mug),wondered why my mobile phone wasn't fully charged then discovered I hadn't pluged it in. All sorts of things. My mind has been elsewhere and my eyes are very sore. I collect her ashes on Thursday and I think that will help me,to have her back with me again. In the meantime I will carry on and I will cry when I want to,smile when I remember the things we did together and think about the times she was there for me when I needed her. There was a lovely verse in the crematoriam, made me cry even more but I would like to put it on here for all the other people who have lost their pets. GOODNIGHT MY FRIEND. MY TIME HAS COME,ITS TIME TO LEAVE NO TIME FOR SADNESS SO PLEASE DON'T GRIEVE. THOUGH IN GOOD TIME YOU WILL KNOW ITS RIGHT,NOW THAT TIME IS HERE,I HAVE LOST THE FIGHT. YOU HAVE SHOWN ME FAITH MY DEAREST FRIEND,STAY WITH ME NOW UNTIL THE END. AS I LEAVE YOU NOW TO START MY REST,REMEMBER ME WHEN AT MY BEST. WE HAVE HAD SOME FUN THROUGHOUT THE YEARS,DON'T SPOIL IT NOW BY SHEDDING TEARS. NO ONE CAN DENY OUR SPECIAL BOND,FOR EACH OTHER WE HAVE GROWN SO FOND. TOGETHER IN HEAVEN AGAIN WE'LL MEET,MAKE SURE YOU BRING MY SPECIAL TREAT. NOW SLIP MY COLLAR,PLEASE SET ME FREE. I WOULD DO THE SAME IF YOU WERE ME. MEMORIES AND DREAMS OF THE TIMES WE HAVE SHARED. KNOWING YOU WERE THERE, KNOWING THAT YOU CARED. I MUST GO NOW FOR I HAVE TO RUN,TO THE PARK OF CLOUDS TO HAVE SOME FUN. FROM CLOUD TO CLOUD THROUGH STARS SO BRIGHT, JUST PAT ME NOW................AND SAY GOODNIGHT. lOVE SUE X

Oh Sue, I was so sorry to hear that you had lost Sandy, Pets are an extension of ourselves and although they can't answer us, they know that we love them and they love us. The verse you have added is so beautiful and has brought tears to my eyes. Time will heal your pain but the memories will remain with you forever. Take care. Helen

Dear Sue I am in tears as I read the poem, but it was beautiful. I wish I could take your pain away, but hard though it seems now it will lessen and you will always have the lovely memories of your time together. She is in a good place now I'm sure and as I said before, I personally feel she will be waiting to greet you. There is a lovely piece on the internet called Rainbow Bridge, If you feel you want to look, type it into the Google search check it's the one about our pets. Take care Sue God Bless and remember we all care about you. Lynda xxxxxx

Sue, what a beautiful verse, thinking of you. Just remember Sandy is now out of pain, when you hear her bark, it's her way of letting you know she's still with you. Love and hugs, M.

So sorry to hear that you have lost Sandy. It will be a difficult time for you that time alone will help to heal the hurt. The lovely words you quoted brought me to tears thinking of my own dear Lucy who I lost three years ago. She did leave me two of her beautiful puppies but after having the three of them for 2 years together, I think they miss their mum as much as I do. Thinking of you Janet

Hello All, Its been a week tonight that I lost my dearly loved dog Sandy. The past week has been hard. Lots and lots of tears! But I have got through it somehow. I did put a tribute on the pets site and also on rainbow bridge so thank you very much for telling me about them. I think the sites are a great idea and they do help. I now have Sandy back with me and her ashes will stay with me. I can't part with her. I am also going to make her a shadow box! With all her pics and her collar in it etc. I can't thank you all enough for all your help and all the emails I recieved. Where would I be without this site and all the friendly people on it. WE ARE ALL ONE BIG HAPPY AND SOMETIMES SAD FAMILY. LOVE AND HUGS TO ALL sUE XXXXXXXXXXX

Sue, As I'v said before Our pets are only on loan and God finds the best possible person for that pet so Sandy was the best for you and you for him. Time will heal as I'v known 5 times before and yet to have to go through the pain again but I would not be without our beloved Koyli. God Bless and keep your memories sweet Julia

Dear Sue I'm glad that you are feeling a bit better after what must have been a hard week for you. Also glad you found comfort in the websites. I know our pets are always in our hearts, every time I clean the photo of one of my cats who I lost in 1999 I always give him a kiss. I think your shadow box is a lovely idea, I hope that you take lots of comfort from it. Much love and hugs to you Lynda xxxxx
