Sylvia, Found your name and message in my contacts list, but for some reason your mail didn't reach me. Thanks for your offer of help in finding Maddy. Unfortunately I don't know her married name. She was Madelon de Zeeuw and she married (I think!!) someone called Arnold/Arnie. Her parents came from Arnhem. She was at school in Oadby, UK around 1970, but as her father travelled with his job she moved around a lot. I don't even know for certain that she is still in Holland!! Thanks anyway!! Maggie

Hi Maggie, I've searched the telephone book in Arnhem and found 5 names with Zeeuw. Did you ever see the address of your friend's mother written and would you recognise it again? Was it a house or a flat? How old would the mother and father be? I'll 'phone them for you later if you like.

Sylvia, Thanks for your offer of help. I too found the dutch phone book online yesterday and found the 5 de Zeeuws in Arnhem - can't for the life of me remember where Maddy's parents used to live - or what their names were - I guess they would be in their 70's or older. Maddy would be in her late 40's now. When they lived in Leicester they lived at Knighton Grange Road, and Maddy's Dad worked at what is now Enkalon House on Regent Road - I think!!!!! Thanks, Maggie
