Mary, just make sure he cant get his head round the collar, ours did when he had his manhood taken away, nibbled at the stiches,blood everywhere back over to the vets to be restiched. Margaret |

He's only grumpy because of the anaesthetic...he doesn't know he's had his bits removed! Anyway its definitely for the best..my previous dog (now in doggie heaven) was left entire (as they say). Proper nuisance, chasing bitches in heat (some owners still bring their bitches out when in season...they leave their smell everywhere, proper torment for entire male dogs), humping everything in sight, male aggression tendencies...Aaarrrggghh. Then in later years he developed testicular cancer. So rest assured you've done the right thing for everyone (including your doggie). Unless you want to breed from your dog, get him neutered! Oh Mary...... and man is dog's best friend too.. No wonder the poor guy is sulking. Give him lots of love and he'll get over it. |

his just got back from vets minus two items, and his sulking terrible, had to put a collar on him to stop him licking the tender area,dont think his happy with me at the moment. he goes back in three days for check dont think he will be as keen as he was this morning to get in vets.ttfn mary |
