My husband and I share a car so I dont always have it. One day I drove to the local supermarket paid my £1 parking ticket went in did a shop, got to the till and paid for shopping handing over my ticket for my £1 refund. All the time Im thinking "Ive got to carry this lot home with me" DOH. Then proceded to walk the mile home. Got home, car not outside the house, pooh someone stolen my car, only to then remember Id left it in the car park of the supermarket. Is this cos Im getting old or what???????????? LOL.

Could it be too much computer? What with watching all the football matches and on the computer, there seems little time left these days. Must remember grandson's 18th birthday this week! Sylvia

I was only 23 when I walked to the shops one day, did a couple of carrier bags full and walked back home again. Only then did I realise something did'nt feel right and realised I'd left my new baby son outside the shop. Thankfully he was OK.

Hi Nichola, Thought I was alone in that! I'm forever leaving drinks round the house! Sometimes, I've got 3 glasses of water on the go at once! I have also become my mother! I'm always leaving my glasses somewhere, then can't find them cos I can't see! My big trick is losing my keys, and I once left my mobile on my car roof and drove off, only to get a call an hour later at work from a man who'd found it! What an angel he was too--he actually drove to my work to return it to me! I wouldn't tell many people this (well only you lot!), but I occasionally forget the baby too--which is scary as I'm a nanny! Never left him anywhere, but occassionally put him to bed and forget he's there til he calls out to get up!

Oh the times I've done the same as Alan frantically looking for my glasses for ages, happen to glance in a mirror and find them on my head. Last night Hubby was getting really mad, he'd got ready for bed and was in his jimjams looking for his specs so he could have a read in bed. We searched the whole house even went outside on the patio, could'nt find them, he was getting more and more annoyed as time went on. Eventually I found them inside his jumper. He forgot to take them off before getting undressed!

I think it doesn't matter what age you are we all do daft things Nowadays I lose my specs even though I have 3 pairs my doorkeys have been missing for about 2 days Yesterday I poured myself a glass of coke then took it to the tap and filled it with water In my younger days I have been known to put my knickers in the fridge I was blonde then but now I'm grey My daughter is worse than me a few years ago she went on a night out and when she opened her handbag to get her purse she found a tin of Tuna but no purse Bren

Hey Bren, It must be something to do with our age group, I can remember, in my 20s, havong been shopping at M&S, putting my bra in the fridge and the lettuce in my dressingtable drawer.

Age or no age at all it heartens me no end to know that other people do daft things as I put my pocket size binoculars in a very safe place when I went on holiday. 6 months later I still have yet to find them!! Jan
